Meet the Team
The Third Sector Health & Social Care Support Team consists of:
Louise joined the team in early November 2014. Louise has a range of experience supporting the third sector particularly about networks and partnership working. Her background has included working for a Third Sector Interface (TSI), a national membership organisation, a Council for Voluntary Service (CVS), local authority, Non Departmental Public Body (NDPB) and the Civil Service.
She’s particularly interested in how the different sectors can break down the barriers that can challenge working together. Other areas of interest include coproduction, self management and tackling health inequalities.
Kerry Gilligan joined the team in April 2016 from her most recent position as Allied Health Professions Lead with North Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership. In this post she operated as part of the Partnerships Senior Management Team and their Integration Joint Board. Kerry trained in Glasgow and qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 1984, before heading to London where she worked at Guys Hospital and then in one of the first community based mental health teams. Her career then took her to Edinburgh where she continued her work with people experiencing mental health problems and she had the opportunity to work closely with people across all sectors. Before joining the ALLIANCE, Kerry worked in a variety of clinical and leadership roles across NHS Ayrshire & Arran, taking the opportunity to develop positive relationships with colleagues in all sectors. She is an advocate of the power of coffee and conversation and can often be found indulging in both.
After graduating with a degree in Modern Languages (French & Spanish), Sarah undertook several internships before landing her first permanent role as a web administrator for an independent department store. Her first foray into the Third Sector was with EVOC when she joined as Communications Officer in 2014. Sarah moved to the ALLIANCE as Communications Coordinator in 2016, and currently works with both the Third Sector Health and Social Care Support Team and the Getting to Know GIRFEC Project.
